Statement of Faith

We affirm our belief in the great doctrines of the evangelical Christian faith and our commitment to spiritual growth and healing.

We believe that the Scriptures, consisting of the Old and New Testaments, are verbally inspired and without error in their original writings. They are our final authority in faith and life (Luke 24:27, 44; John 5:39; Acts 1:16, 28:25; 1 Corinthians 2:13; 2 Timothy 3:15-17; 2 Peter 1:20, 21; Revelation 22:18, 19).

We believe in God, who exists eternally in three Persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. We affirm that Jesus Christ, who was God from eternity, was begotten by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary, thus being both true man and true God (Genesis 1:26-28; Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 1:20-23; 28:18, 19; Mark 12:29; Luke 1:26-38; 2:7; John 1:1-14; Acts 5:3, 4; Hebrews 1:1-3; Revelation 1:4-6).

We believe that God created a host of angels, originally sinless spiritual beings. Some, led by Satan, fell into sin and now oppose God and His purposes. The holy angels continue to minister as servants of God (Genesis 3:1-19; Isaiah 14:12-17; Ezekiel 28:11-19; Luke 10:18; 15:10; John 10:10; 2 Corinthians 4:3, 4; 11:13-15; Ephesians 6:10-12; Hebrews 1:13, 14; 2:6-10; 2 Peter 2:4; Jude 6; Revelation 12:9; 20:1-3, 10).

We believe that Adam was created without sin but fell through his transgression, resulting in all his descendants being born in sin and subject to death and judgment apart from divine grace (Genesis 1:26-27; Romans 3:23-26; 5:8; 1 Corinthians 15:1-24, 51-58; 2 Corinthians 5:14-21; Ephesians 1:20-23; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18; Titus 2:13; Hebrews 1:3-7:25; 1 Peter 3:18; 1 John 2:1; Revelation 1:5; 19:11-20:15).

We believe that men and women can be saved from sin and attain eternal life by recognizing their sinfulness, believing in the love and redemptive work of Jesus Christ through His shed blood on Calvary. Salvation is a free gift of God, received by grace through faith in Christ as personal Savior and sin-bearer, and cannot be achieved by human effort (John 3:14-18, 36; 5:25; 6:47; Acts 4:12; Romans 1:16, 17; 3:20-26; 5:1; 8:1; Ephesians 2:8, 9; Titus 3:5; 1 Peter 1:18, 19; Revelation 1:5).

We believe that at death, the saved enter into the presence of God immediately to spend eternity with Him, while the unsaved experience eternal, conscious separation from God and His wrath (Psalm 9:18; Luke 16:23; Matthew 13:40-43; 1 Corinthians 15:12-20; 2 Corinthians 5:1-8; 1 Thessalonians 4:14; Hebrews 3:15-19; Revelation 20:13, 14).

We believe that the Holy Spirit convicts sinners of their need for Christ as Savior, regenerates those who place their faith in Him, and indwells all true believers. The Holy Spirit manifests within us, empowering and guiding us to live according to God's will. The Holy Spirit also enlightens us, providing divine guidance and insight as we seek to understand and follow God's path for our lives. This divine presence fosters our spiritual growth, enabling us to exhibit the fruits of the Spirit, such as love, joy, peace, and kindness, and to resist the temptations of the world (John 7:37-39; 14:16, 17; 16:7-15; Acts 2:38; Romans 8:1-17; 1 Corinthians 6:19, 20; Galatians 5:16-26; Ephesians 5:18).

We believe in the spiritual unity of true believers in Christ, who are members of the Church, the body of Christ, with Him as the Head. Believers are assured of being caught up in the rapture when Christ returns for His Church (Romans 12:3-8; 1 Corinthians 12:13-27; Ephesians 1:22, 23; 2:13-22; 5:23-32; 1 Thessalonians 4:14-18).

We believe that Christians are called to live for the glory of God and to spread His love to all creation through our ministry. Our mission includes providing outreach and ministry to those in need, fostering compassion, community, and spiritual growth to create a more harmonious and enlightened world (Matthew 28:19; Mark 16:15; Luke 24:46-48; John 15:16; Acts 1:8; 1 Corinthians 10:31; 2 Corinthians 5:20; Philippians 1:20, 21).

We believe that true faith in Christ is demonstrated by acts of love toward God and all people, rejecting all forms of racism and promoting equality among individuals of all races and stations in life (Luke 10:25-37; James 2:8, 9; 1 John 2:10, 11; 3:14-18; 4:7-21).
